Since 1876 Vittore Gianni started a fine tailor shop that produced clothes for AC Milan, Juventus and the Milan Ballet. In 1910 the first cycling clothes were designed for the five-time Giro champion Alfredo Binda. It took a while until Armando Castelli joined Gianni’s staff and bought the company in 1939. Castelli remained the high-profile clients like Gino Bartali and Fausto Coppi. The Castelli scorpion has a long and rich history but has nothing to do with the tailor shop. This is the reason to redesign the branding, based on tailors and stitches. The red color has changed for an 'bright' orange color with a contrasting blue/purple color.
